Overview:
Currently seeking to fill a 12+ month contractor position for a Test Analyst with one of our direct clients here in Raleigh, NC. The position may be extended based on budget, need, and individual’s fit within the department. 
 
Responsibilities:
The Client is seeking an Expert Level Test Analyst for a 12 month engagement to provide testing support with the IT Enterprise Testing Team. The support consists of software testing of new releases/upgrades to applications for deployment. The individual must have proven experience with developing test documents, automated test scripts, and testing web applications with complex interfaces across technology platforms. Experience with HP’s suite of testing tools (ALM/Quality Center, Quick Test Professional, LoadRunner/Performance Center and SiteScope) is required.
 
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
• Review and analysis of project requirements for clarity, understanding and testability.
• Development of system test plans and manual test cases.
• Development of automatic test scripts for functional and performance testing.
• Execution of the test cases and test scripts.
• Defect management and reporting.
• Providing input or creating testing artifacts to include but not be limited to: Test Plans, Test Results, Metrics and Defect Reports.
• Providing weekly status reports to Management.
 
Qualifications:
 Required Skills (7+ years of the following)
  • Experience testing business web applications and complex business applications across technologies.
  • Experience in designing test plans, manual test case definition and test case execution, and review and analysis of project requirements.
  • Experience with developing automated test scripts
  • Experience with HP Testing Tools Suite (ALM/Quality Center, Quick Test Professional/UFT, LoadRunner/Performance Center and SiteScope).
  • Experience developing testing approach, test environment requirements and data strategies.
  • Strong, demonstrated documentation skills (test cases, test plans and test artifacts).
  • Strong Microsoft Suite experience (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience testing in an Agile life-cycle environment.
  • Ability to learn complex business functions.
  • Ability to organize/manage own work and meet a pre-determined schedule of deliverables.
  • Computer Science Degree or related discipline; professional certification.
